Hot Chicken Salad Casserole

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 4 boneless chicken breast halves, cooked and diced
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 (8 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts
  • 1 (4.5 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 teaspoons grated onion
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed potato chips

    Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins Ready Time: 45 mins

  • preheat oven to 350 degrees f (175 degrees c). lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • in a large bowl mix the chicken, celery, water chestnuts, mushrooms, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, onion, and almonds. transfer to the baking dish, and top with cheddar cheese and crushed potato chips.
  • bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, until lightly browned
