Ginger Dressing

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces gingerroot (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1 medium onion, cut in quarters
  • 3 cups vegetable oil
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 3/4 cups soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1/4 lemon, juiced
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 3/4 cups water

Recipe

  • 1 soak ginger root in cold water for a few minutes to make it easier to remove outer skin.
  • 2 remove skin and cut into quarters.
  • 3 combine all ingredients in a food processor with a steel blade and blend until smooth.
  • 4 (divide ingredients in half and blend each half separately if food processor will not handle entire recipe.) refrigerate.
