Marinated Mushrooms

Total Time: 26 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 6 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/3 cup salad oil
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 3 cups fresh mushrooms, steamed 1 minute

Recipe

  • 1 simmer all ingredients except mushrooms for 5 minutes.
  • 2 cool slightly.
  • 3 steam mushrooms for 1 minute and drain.
  • 4 add marinade to mushrooms and toss lightly.
  • 5 store in refrigerator for at least 24 hours, or up to a week.
  • 6 remove from refrigerator an hour before serving.
