Mushroom Skewers

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb plain yogurt
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 lemons, grated rind and juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
  • 20 chestnut mushrooms, trimmed and wiped
  • 16 small bay leaves

Recipe

  • 1 into the yogurt mix the garlic, lemon, salt and garam masala.
  • 2 put the mushrooms in a bowl and pour over the marinade. mix well then cover and chill for at least 4-5 hours.
  • 3 soak 4 bamboo skewers in hot water for 30 minutes. thread mushrooms, alternately with bay leaves onto skewers.
