Hot Chicken Sticks

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 24 wooden skewers or 24 metal skewers
  • 1/2 cup chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons hot pepper sauce or 2 teaspoons hot pepper jelly, for a sweeter taste
  • 2 lbs chicken tenders (24)
  • 1 (8 ounce) bottle bleu cheese salad dressing
  • 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, finely chopped

Recipe

  • 1 heat your grill to medium heat.
  • 2 if using wooden skewers be sure to soak them in water for 30 minutes.
  • 3 be sure to oil grill before cooking.
  • 4 combine chili sauce, worcestershire sauce and hot pepper sauce, or the hot pepper jelly, whichever you are using.
  • 5 thread each chicken tender onto skewer, leaving 1 inch empty at each end.
  • 6 baste with the chili sauce mixture.
  • 7 grill on medium heat for about 15 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink in center.
  • 8 baste often with the chili sauce mixture.
  • 9 dipping sauce:.
  • 10 combine bleu cheese dressing, celery and onion and serve with chicken.
