Low-fat Oil-less Pesto

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup toasted pine nuts
  • 3 cups basil leaves
  • 2 cups spinach leaves
  • 8 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 2 -4 tablespoons mineral water
  • salt

Recipe

  • 1 put nuts, basil, spinach, garlic, cheese, lemon juice and pepper in a food processor.
  • 2 puree.
  • 3 gradually add mineral water until desired consistency is achieved.
