Dried Fruit Salad 2

Total Time: 24 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 24 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 125 g prunes (stoned)
  • 125 g dried apricots
  • 125 g dried apple rings
  • 75 g raisins
  • 3 bananas, peeled and sliced
  • 4 cardamom pods, split
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 orange, zest of
  • 1 lemon zest
  • 2 oranges
  • 125 ml water

Recipe

  • 1 combine prunes, apricots and apple rings in a bowl and cover with boiling water.
  • 2 cover and soak overnight.
  • 3 after soaking preheat oven to 350°f.
  • 4 drain fruit.
  • 5 place fruit onto a baking dish and add raisins, banana and cardamom pods.
  • 6 juice 2 oranges, reserve.
  • 7 in a seperate dish combine remaining ingredients with the water and pour over fruit.
  • 8 mix well and bake for 35 minutes then stir in the juice of the 2 oranges and serve warm.
